Plumbing Built Around Arcanum Wells and Septic Tanks
Outside the village water and sewer lines, most Arcanum-area homes rely on a private well and a septic system. We service both ends, so one call covers the pump that brings water in and the tank that carries it away.
Well Pump Installation
Submersible and jet pumps from Grundfos, Myers, and Pentair, plus pressure tanks and switches, so your faucets get steady pressure again.

Small-Town Plumbers Who Pick Up the Phone
We are a locally owned plumbing company based in Eaton, about a half-hour drive south of Arcanum. Since 2015 our team has grown to more than 50 years of combined experience, and much of our Darke County work comes from neighbors recommending us to neighbors.
That's why we keep things simple: show up when we say we will, explain the problem in plain language, and give you a written price before any work begins. If a repair is the smarter move than a replacement, we'll tell you.
Arcanum Plumbing FAQs
Common signs are sputtering faucets, pressure that rises and drops, a pump that cycles on and off rapidly, or no water at all. Sometimes the cause is a pressure switch or tank rather than the pump itself, so we test the whole system before recommending a replacement.
Most homes need pumping every three to five years, depending on the tank size and how many people live in the house. Slow drains, odors near the tank, or soggy spots over the leach field mean it is time to call.
Harsh chemical drain openers can kill the bacteria that break down waste in your tank. Mechanical cleaning is the safer choice, and it's what we use.
Yes. We work throughout the Arcanum area and the rest of Darke County, including farms, rural homes on private wells, and properties with older septic systems.
No. Estimates are free, and there is no call-out fee during business hours.
